Bad Weather Mouthpieces

Ronald Meyer

I am addressing to all of you students in marching band that play Brass Instruments!

There comes a time when you will be playing outside in some pretty cold, subfreezing temperatures.  You will be marching around and go to put the instrument up to your mouth.  What do you do if the metal mouthpiece is also "subfreezing"?  Could be a dangerous situation putting freezing metal up to your mouth.

At Starving Students we have an answer; Faxx All-Weather Plastic Mouthpieces (https://starving-students-music-supplies.myshopify.com/search?q=faxx+)  Faxx makes copies of popular designs (like Mt Vernon mouthpieces) and produces them faithfully in plastic.  Guess what, plastic will not freeze like metal.

For marching season, try a Faxx All-Weather Plastic Mouthpiece and be safe out there
